Start with a standalone design consultation to discuss your ideas, assess the available information and identify the next steps. We agree the consultation scope, fee and any travel arrangements before booking.
A site appraisal and concept design can then review the property, planning context, constraints and options using measured information where required. Consultation sketches help explore ideas; technical design and construction information are separately scoped.

Renovations, Extensions and Conservation

Technical Design & Drawings
Technical drawings and coordinated design information are prepared for the planning, Building Regulations or construction stage agreed in your appointment.
Our CAD services can convert sketches and marked-up plans into 2D drawings, update red-line information and organise existing drawing files. We can review drawing scales, dimensions, layouts and presentation, with DWG or PDF outputs agreed for the intended use.
Send the available files, required outputs and deadline for a written quotation. Drawing conversion or an as-built update does not independently verify site measurements or completed works.
Planning & Statutory Applications
Preparation and submission of planning applications, including drawings and supporting information. We act as agent and liaise directly with local planning authorities throughout determination.
Building Regulations & Compliance
Preparation of Building Regulations drawing packages and technical information, coordinated with structural and energy design requirements where applicable.
Construction-Stage Design Support
Design-stage support during construction, including contractor liaison and technical clarification. Formal contract administration is provided only where expressly agreed.
Contract Administration
Contract administration is available where expressly included in your written appointment, with duties defined by the selected building contract.
The agreed service may include administering instructions and changes, assessing payment applications, recording progress and coordinating contractual communications. We confirm the scope, visit arrangements, responsibilities and fee before work begins.
